About
The ECU Language Academy (ECULA) provides high-quality English instruction for students and professionals from all over the world. It is a nationally accredited English for Academic Purposes program, preparing its students to meet their future academic goals. We offer small classes of less than 10 students and personal attention.
The ECULA program supports ECU by building the language skills of future ECU students. Students coming to ECU through our conditional admission program can advance directly into an ECU undergraduate or graduate degree program once they complete ECULA.
After leaving ECULA, most students stay right on campus and enter ECU, beginning study in their chosen field. ECU has nine undergraduate schools, a graduate school and two professional schools, preparing students for careers in business, engineering, health and medicine, computer science, and many more areas. The Princeton Review has named ECU one of the “Best Schools in the Southeast.”
