Hi! My name is Jahiem Hill, I’m currently a senior finishing up my degree in Biochemistry. I am from Jackson Springs, NC. I am apart of Gamma Psi Sigma and ECU Research. I plan to apply to graduate school for a MPH and MD. Some of my favorite hobbies are to skate, fossil hunt, paint, and go to the movies. I’m super excited to see where study abroad takes you!

How Has Studying Abroad Helped Your Personal and Professional Life?

Studying abroad has helped me personally find a new level of independence and confidence within myself. Professionally I have improved key skills that will help me in the future workforce by being more open minded, resourceful, and the drive needed to adapt to a always changing environment.

What Advice Can You Offer to Students Interested in Studying Abroad?

My best advice to anyone studying abroad is to leave your comfort zone and immerse yourself in the culture. Also, budget money to travel to other countries.

Do You Have Any Plans or Ideas to Travel Abroad Again?

YES! I have made so many friends while being abroad I want to visit all their hometowns!
