Cultural Activities

East Carolina University Language Academy (ECULA) offers regular activities to immerse you in the diverse culture of the United States.  While many activities are offered on ECU’s beautiful main campus, other trips will take you to sites of local and national interest.  Some of our activities include:

• Weekly International Student coffee hour
• International potluck dinners
• Trips to North Carolina’s beautiful Outer Banks and state parks
• Pick-your-own strawberries afternoon
• Spring weekend trip to Washington, DC
• Fall International Lantern Festival trip to Raleigh, NC
