Angel – Tuscany

Hello, my name is Angel Parker, and I am a sophomore at ECU, and I am currently majoring in Biochemical engineering. I am going on the Tuscany study abroad program, so I am going to Italy! I am very excited to travel to Italy because there is just so much to see. From the monuments to the works of heart, and to just the sites people see on a daily basis there. Being able to be the first in my family to see this glorious country is truly astounding.

Something I hope to accomplish while I am in Italy is to gain a better understanding of the different mindsets from those who do not live in a country that is the same as my own. I am also excited to be able to learn about a country with such a vast history compared to my own. I cannot wait to see the various art pieces that are held within the country itself. It will also be a great opportunity to explore the different types of food there.

Just for this trip I got numerous new outfits to wear and show off in Italy. I have also put great consideration into what I will bring with me while abroad because I am unfortunately an over packer so I needed to have my mom help me edit so I would have plenty of space for souvenirs. I cannot wait for my flight on Wednesday!
