UNC Global Art Exhibit: Submissions Wanted The FedEx Global Education Center at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill seeks proposals for a fall 2021 art exhibition from Latina and Latino artists based in North Carolina to celebrate the breadth and diversity of artists who call North Carolina home. Artwork will be displayed from mid-August through December 2021. Artists using paint, sculpture, textile, photography and other mediums are welcome to submit proposals. Each semester, UNC Global features the works of global artists in exhibitions that touch on a variety of themes and topics. The exhibits offer perspectives from a range of places, histories and peoples, but convey themes that are universal. Artwork is displayed from the first to the third floor of the FedEx Global Education Center at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill to inspire the Carolina community and further infuse a global dimension throughout the University’s teaching and research. The deadline for submission is March 31, 2021. Proposals should be submitted to Ingrid Smith, interim director of communications and events for UNC Global, at ingrid.smith@unc.edu. Learn More! |
